My name susencrusen and I’m part of 5711 and holon.
I first encountered the scene in 2004 in Stuttgart at some “outreach program”, but I didn’t get what it’s about back then.
When I met Chunna and Faxe I rediscovered it and was very intrigued.
When and where was the first Evoke you visited?
My first evoke was „zvokz”; so the first one in the AbenteuerHallen in 2009.
When did you join the organizing team?
In 2010 I joined the organizing team as the friendly face at the info desk.
What made you join the organizing team?
I was asked by Faxe and Chunna if I could help out and it was such a huge honor.
I was new to the scene but I instantly connected with it! So I was super happy to “work“ for evoke.
What is your job inside the organizing team?
I’m part of the info desk team and since 2012 I’m part of the design team.
I really enjoy thinking of new designs together with Chunna every year!
Which compo do you enjoy watching the most?
I love watching the animation and demo compos the most. I also enjoy the intros a lot.
Is there a demo/intro/... released at Evoke you love the most?
This questions took me a while to find an answer to, but I always came back to S.P.H.E.A.R by Loonies.
Somehow it always stuck with me and when I saw first relatively new in the scene and I saw very impressed with it.
What would be the photo to describe Evoke for you?
Do you have a favorite shirt from Evoke?
Well I love them all! But if I had to chose one I would that the planet shirt.
It’s the first design I was really involved in and it’s a dope shirt!
What would be your most memorable moment at Evoke?
Somehow every opening shift is super special to me. Because you get to say hi to everyone!
Besides Evoke, what is your next favorite demoparty?
TRSAC – just because it’s so much FUN!
Three words that describe Evoke best?
creativity, family and joy
Is there anything else that you always wanted to say about Evoke?
I love this party and this team a lot and I hope I’ll manage to stay on board no matter where I’m at.
This team are very special people to me and they always be like my second family.
