To warm you up on Friday, keep you excited on Saturday and then finally finish you off on Sunday in the earliest morning we asked for some help from musicians that will fulfill these tasks just well.

of contemporary electronic music - mainly psytrance, acid and
drum'n'bass - creating an easily recognisable sound unique to
Byproduct alone. The music is sometimes cheery, sometimes dark,
but always with a twist to hold the attention and the interest
of the listeners all the way to the end.

CC4

(bonn, germany)

LIVE // Friday ~22:30

With each of the four members deeply rooted in music, CC4 looks to bring you well known sound aesthetics, reminiscient of classic soundchips as the Yamaha YM2612, MOS Technology SID or the SPC700, with a modern twist. An unique approach, consisting of samples, MIDI-parts (partly based on SID) and live played keyboards / synthesizers, combined with effects and a drumcomputer will bring you a mashup of known melodies & improvised parts, in a live composition.
This will be the first public appearance of Bassador, Elektrolok, YuzoTibi & tsnm as CC4. So, even if they're experienced in playing before a crowd individually, this will be quite an experiment for them, too.

DJ Quishot

(cologne, germany)

DJ SET // Saturday/Sunday ~2:00

Markus Schulze aka DJ Don Quishot is a mover and shaker in the electronic music scene since 1994. He started as a DJ in a small underground place called Neuroserve in Bielefeld and still calls the little and not very legal cellarbar in the heart of Germany as his DJ dojo. In the electronic scene, he was always active as a photographer and DJ at the same time. And subsequently changed his job as an advertisement photographer to the photographic editor of Raveline, a techno scene mag of the 90’s. Working for the magazine, he photographed many well known DJ’s and played in famous clubs like Tresor, at Nature One and at the first Rave’n’Cruise in Thailand. With his move to Cologne, he found his musical home at the Liquid Sky bar. He toured with Air Liquide, played in Brazil at the EcoSystem 1.0 and many more clubs throughout Europe ( Moog Club, 1030 Leipzig, … ) Together with his DJing buddy DJ Link, he played as Doppelstecker on 4 turn tables simultaneously, loops only and had his own label, partnering with Lars Böske until 2005 ( Shot Division and Shot Toolz )… Until 2006 he was the resident DJ at the Camouflage Club in Cologne. Since the closing of his label, he plays selected events only, like Silberschwein, continuously and exclusively on vinyl.

DaTucker

(borne, the netherlands)

DJ SET // Friday/Saturday ~1:30

At the age of 11, DaTucker's parents bought him a C-64. This machine heavily influencend his musical life. In 2001, DaTucker discovered an active Commodore 64-remixing scene on the internet. He started to produce a few C64-remixes himself, of which Commando 2001 is probably the most well known one. Later on DaTucker started deejaying using digital DJ-software. Still influenced by both the SID and his early encounter with electronic music, he started to mix C64-remixes and other 8-bit micromusic related stuff into both old and new skool electro and house tracks. DaTucker will bring you a mix of early oldskool electro, known and less known electronic tracks and contemporary club hits with a computer related twist.
